Kinangop Dairy unveils premium yoghurt range 

KENYA – Kinangop Dairy Limited has introduced Kinangop Gold Yoghurt, a new range of premium dairy products aimed at enhancing indulgence and flavor in the yoghurt market. 

According to the company, the selection has been crafted with carefully curated taste profiles to appeal to diverse consumer preferences.  

The newly launched range features a variety of flavors, including pineapple, vanilla, strawberry, lemon biscuit, and chocolate. 

“Each variant is designed to offer a balance between indulgence and wholesomeness, appealing to both classic and adventurous palates,” the company said. 

“We are so happy that the yoghurts turned out the way they did. We’ve been working on this project for about a year now, and now, I can say that it was worth it.” 

The yoghurts will be available in 400g family-sized packs as well as 200g options for on-the-go consumers.  

The company’s dedication to quality was further seen at the 5th Annual Kenya Beverage Excellence Awards (KBEA), where Kinangop Dairy received multiple accolades for its dairy products. 

The event, held at Ole Sereni Hotel on November 8, 2024, recognized outstanding achievements in Kenya’s beverage sector. 

Chief Guest Dr. Juma Mukhwana, Principal Secretary in the State Department for Industry, commended the industry’s contribution to job creation and economic growth, emphasizing the importance of continuous innovation.  

Kinangop Dairy secured recognition in three major categories, reinforcing its position as a key player in the sector. 

The company was named First Runner-Up in the Most Preferred Long Life Milk category for its Kinangop Milk, First Runner-Up in the Most Preferred Kid’s Yoghurt category for its 4US Yoghurt, and Second Runner-Up in the Most Preferred Mala/Lala Milk category for its Kinangop Lala Milk.  

A company representative attributed the recognition to Kinangop Dairy’s ongoing investment in quality and innovation.
