Crickley Dairy expands product line with new drinking yoghurt range

SOUTH AFRICA – Crickley Dairy has launched a new range of drinking yoghurts, expanding its product lineup with four flavors: strawberry, chocolate, hazelnut, and passion fruit. 

The company, which has been in operation for over 40 years, announced that the new products are now available to consumers.

A report by the company emphasized its commitment to providing high-quality dairy products while maintaining a workplace culture that values and supports employees.

Crickley Dairy has established itself as a leading dairy producer in South Africa, offering a variety of milk, cream, cheese, and yoghurt products.

 According to the company, its fresh milk undergoes a technologically advanced process called bactofugation, which removes bacteria before pasteurization, extending the shelf life of milk by up to 14 days. 

The company also highlighted that all its packaging is 100% recyclable, aligning with sustainability efforts.

In addition to the new drinking yoghurts, Crickley Dairy produces fresh cream and double-thick cream, which differ in milkfat content.

Fresh cream contains between 33% and 43% milkfat, making it a lighter option compared to double-thick cream, which has between 48% and 53%. 

A report by the company explained that the higher fat content in double-thick cream allows it to hold its shape longer, making it suitable for pastry fillings, toppings, and creamy sauces.

Crickley Dairy also supplies a variety of cheese products sourced from the Eastern Cape. 

The company’s range includes cheddar, gouda, mature cheddar, and white cheddar, available in different packaging sizes. 

The company reported that its yoghurt selection features both medium-fat and double-cream varieties, available in various fruit flavors such as guava, peach, mixed berry, and vanilla.

Crickley Dairy’s fruit juice line includes nectar blends and 100% juices, with flavors such as orange, pineapple, tropical, and beetroot.

The company also produces a dairy blend beverage that combines fruit juice with skim milk.

The report stated that these products aim to provide consumers with both refreshing and nutritious options.

The company has earned recognition for its quality products in the SA Dairy Championships. According to reports, Crickley Dairy won first place in the medium-fat yoghurt category in both 2019 and 2020. 

“We are proud to have been recognized for our pineapple and granadilla medium-fat yoghurts,” the company stated.
