KENYA – Dairyland, a renowned Kenyan dairy and chocolate brand, has unveiled a fresh new look for its ice cream tubs, offering a blend of innovation and flair.
The transformation, which the company describes as a “glow-up,” promises not only a visual upgrade but an enhanced experience in both looks and flavor.
Dairyland’s new packaging features updated designs that embody the brand’s dedication to creativity while retaining its commitment to quality.
From classic flavors to real fruit vibes and indulgent deluxe options, the brand has taken its product presentation to new heights while preserving its signature taste.
Founded in 1979, Dairyland began its journey with ice cream and has since expanded its product range to include chocolates, yogurts, chocolate spreads, topping sauces, and various catering items.
According to a report by the company, innovation and quality remain at the heart of its operations.
The company’s success can be attributed to its extensive cold chain infrastructure, distribution network, and the vibrant energy of its staff, all contributing to the brand’s widespread regional success in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan.
Dairyland’s commitment to food safety has also set it apart in the industry, with Glacier Products Ltd being the only dairy FMCG in the region to receive the prestigious Food Safety Management Systems Certification FSSC 22000.
This certification reflects the company’s ongoing dedication to upholding high standards while pushing the brand forward.
In 2023, the company made waves with the launch of Kenya’s first-ever vegan ice cream under the Dairyland Dairy-Free Vegan Ice Cream line.
The product was designed to cater to the growing population of lactose-intolerant consumers and to align with global health, wellness, and environmental trends.
Milan Kabata, the Head of Marketing at Glacier Products Ltd, remarked, “Our Vegan Ice Cream is a game-changer for individuals who are lactose intolerant. They can now indulge in their favourite frozen dessert without any limitations.”
The ice cream, which is soy-based, offers a creamy and indulgent treat without dairy, ensuring that no one has to compromise on taste or quality. “
We have carefully developed flavours such as Vanilla, Strawberry, Hazelnut, Cappuccino, and Brownie, ensuring a rich and satisfying experience for our customers,” Kabata added.
As the market leader in Kenya’s ice cream sector for over 25 years, Dairyland continues to innovate and maintain a strong reputation for producing top-quality products.
With its recent product upgrades and the introduction of Dairy-Free Vegan Ice Cream, the brand shows no signs of slowing down, striving to reach even greater heights in the industry.
