Parag Milk shares rise 1.9% as Q3 profit, revenue grow

INDIA – Parag Milk has reported a rise in its shares 1.90% to Rs 168.95 following a solid performance in the third quarter of the financial year 2025.

The company reported a 6% increase in consolidated net profit, reaching Rs 36 crore, alongside a 10% growth in revenue to Rs 885 crore compared to the same period last year.

According to the company’s financial report, EBITDA improved by 13% to Rs 79 crore in the third quarter, up from Rs 70 crore in Q3 FY24.

Profit before tax stood at Rs 38 crore, marking a 15% increase from Rs 33 crore in the previous year.

The company attributed this growth to strong performance in its core categories, which include ghee, cheese, and paneer.

It was reported that these categories recorded a 15% volume growth in Q3 FY25, with a year-to-date (YTD) growth of 17% as of December.

Parag Milk Foods further noted that its flagship brand, Gowardhan Ghee, now holds a 22% market share in the branded cow ghee segment, as per the latest IMARC report for 2024.

The company’s Go Cheese brand maintained a 35% market share in the cheese category.

Meanwhile, the company handled approximately 15 lakh litres of milk per day during the quarter, with average milk prices standing at Rs 34 per litre, reflecting a 4% year-on-year increase.

The YTD December FY25 milk prices averaged Rs 32 per litre, down 11% from the previous year.

The company’s gross profit margin expanded by 180 basis points year-on-year, reaching 25.4% for YTD FY25, compared to 23.6% in YTD FY24.

This improvement was attributed to lower milk prices and an improved mix of value-added products.

Commenting on the performance, Devendra Shah, chairman of Parag Milk Foods, stated, “Our highest-ever delivery in Q3 leveraging strong festive demand is a testimonial to the increasing preference for premium dairy offerings and our ability to meet evolving consumer needs.”
