Galloway Company boosts U.S. sweetened condensed milk capacity with facility expansion

USA – Galloway Company, a leading supplier of cream liqueur bases and sweetened condensed milk based in Wisconsin, has reported the completion of a major expansion to its production facilities.

The centerpiece of this development is a custom-built evaporator designed to nearly double the nation’s industrial sweetened condensed milk capacity, an advancement that addresses a long-standing supply constraint in the concentrated dairy ingredient market.

Mike Hasler, director of industrial sales at Galloway Company, reported that the bakery and confectionery markets have faced growing constraints over the past four years, with production capacities pushed to their limits and extended lead times.

He noted that the recent expansion allows the company not only to meet the demands of its current customers but also to take on new business. The newly installed evaporator builds redundancy into production processes, ensuring an uninterrupted supply of products.

Additionally, it enables greater customization to serve clients ranging from small-scale producers to large industrial customers.

The upgraded system features high-efficiency motors, precision-engineered valve systems, and a fully automated homogenization process.

It incorporates advanced lactose seeding and cooling technologies that reduce energy consumption and minimize environmental impact. Galloway Company has emphasized that sustainability remains a priority, with the new system aligning with its commitment to reducing the company’s environmental footprint.

Alongside these technological advancements, the company has maintained rigorous quality control measures to deliver consistent product performance.

Galloway Company specializes in condensed dairy blends and beverage bases tailored for industrial applications. The company also operates Classic Mix Partners, Wisconsin’s largest producer of frozen dairy dessert mixes, which supplies clients across the United States.
