USA – Handel’s Ice Cream has achieved a notable milestone with the opening of its 150th store at Buckhead Landing in Atlanta, highlighting its continued growth and strategic expansion across the United States.
The grand-opening event, scheduled for Thursday, December 12, will take place at 3330 Piedmont Road, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony set for 10:30 a.m. and doors officially opening to the public at 11 a.m.
According to Jennifer Schuler, CEO of Handel’s Ice Cream, the Buckhead location represents a pivotal step in the company’s expansion plans.
“Reaching 150 locations with the Buckhead Landing store sets the stage for further expansion in 2025. Our focus remains on delivering exceptional flavors and hospitality that celebrate life’s simple pleasures,” Schuler said.
As reported by DairyNews.today, the new store is part of a broader push into key markets, particularly within Atlanta, where the brand recently opened a location in Midtown.
The Buckhead store further signals Handel’s strategic intent to strengthen its presence in high-potential urban areas while enhancing franchise operations and support systems.
The grand opening also showcases Handel’s customer-centric approach, with the company offering the first 150 guests free ice cream for a year.
This initiative highlights its commitment to building strong relationships with local communities and rewarding customer loyalty.
Handel’s Ice Cream, established nearly 80 years ago, has built its legacy on delivering handmade, in-store crafted ice cream that prioritizes quality and consistency.
This emphasis on creating timeless and trend-forward flavors has been central to its success. Schuler noted that joining the vibrant Buckhead community aligns with the company’s goal of bringing its premium offerings to diverse markets across the country.
