KENYA – Kinangop Dairy has introduced 4US Long Life Whole Milk, expanding its 4US brand to cater to Kenya’s growing demand for nutritious, convenient dairy options.
Packaged in a 500 ml Tetra Fino carton, the new product is designed for health-conscious consumers seeking long-lasting freshness without sacrificing quality.
The 4US Long Life Whole Milk emphasizes a creamy texture and rich flavor, highlighted by its “Whole & Creamy” label.
According to Kinangop Dairy, the use of ultra-high-temperature (UHT) processing ensures the milk maintains its quality and extends its shelf life without preservatives.
“This offers consumers the freshness and nutritional benefits of milk for a longer period, a key advantage in markets where refrigeration can be inconsistent.”
Kinangop Dairy stated that this strategic move aligns with its broader mission to make high-quality dairy products accessible and affordable.
The product’s slogan, “Ni yetu,” underscores a commitment to local sourcing and community-focused production.
The company highlights that the image of a contented cow on the packaging symbolizes its dedication to animal welfare and sustainable farming practices.
This branding initiative aims to resonate with Kenyan consumers who value authenticity and transparency in their food sources.
Available across supermarkets, wholesalers, distributors, and neighborhood dukas, the 4US UHT Whole Milk targets a broad market segment.
Kinangop Dairy’s distribution strategy positions it to compete effectively in Kenya’s dynamic dairy sector, where convenience and quality are driving consumer choices.
The 500 ml Tetra Fino pack, with its green and white design, offers visual appeal and reflects an eco-friendly approach, supporting the company’s sustainability goals.
The introduction of this product is expected to strengthen Kinangop Dairy’s market presence and enhance brand loyalty.
The company believes that by offering a shelf-stable alternative that retains the taste and nutritional profile of fresh milk, they address a critical gap in the market.
Kinangop Dairy’s launch of 4US UHT Whole Milk coincides with its success at the 5th Annual Kenya Beverage Excellence Awards (KBEA).
The company received multiple awards, including First Runner-Up in the Most Preferred Long Life Milk Category for Kinangop Milk, First Runner-Up in the Most Preferred Kid’s Yoghurt Category for 4US Yoghurts, and Second Runner-Up in the Most Preferred Mala/Lala Milk Category for Kinangop Lala Milk.
Shivla Mathenge, Brand Assistant at Kinangop Dairy, expressed pride in these achievements, stating that the awards highlight the company’s focus on quality and innovation.
“These awards show our commitment to delivering superior dairy products and supporting the local economy,” Mathenge said.
During the awards ceremony, Juma Mukhwana, Principal Secretary of the State Department, recognized the important role of beverage manufacturers in driving economic growth and creating jobs.
He commended Kinangop Dairy for its contributions across the production and distribution value chain, emphasizing its impact on employment and economic development.
“The innovation and dedication of companies like Kinangop Dairy are essential for growth and job creation,” Dr. Mukhwana said.
