EGYPT – Beyti, a subsidiary of Almarai, has been recognized with prestigious global certifications and outstanding AIB ratings, reaffirming its commitment to “Quality You Can Trust.”
These achievements stem from Beyti’s dedication to maintaining stringent quality assurance across its supply chain, from its depots to its laboratories, ensuring excellence in every product.
The achievent comes as the company is expanding its regional footprint and bolstering its leadership in the food and beverage sector.
Earlier this year, Almarai bolstered Beyti’s operations by inaugurating two new cheese production lines in Egypt, representing an investment exceeding EGP 1 billion (approximately SAR 77.33 million).
Almarai’s CEO, Abdullah Al-Bader, emphasized that the investment is a cornerstone of the company’s broader regional strategy.
“Our expansion in Egypt is a key component of our growth. This investment not only enhances our production capacity but also strengthens our economic ties with the Egyptian market, one of our most important regional markets,” he stated.
“We are committed to delivering high-quality products to meet the needs of consumers both locally and internationally.”
Beyti plays a crucial role in Almarai’s export activities, contributing US$50 million annually. The company’s operations in Egypt provide over 5,550 direct and indirect job opportunities, highlighting its significant impact on the local economy.
Egypt’s Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development, Kamel Al-Wazir, commended Almarai’s investment as a vital contribution to the government’s goal of boosting self-sufficiency in key food industries and reducing reliance on imports.
He noted that such initiatives are essential in strengthening the country’s industrial and economic resilience.
Beyond its investment in cheese production, Almarai operates 28 production lines across diverse categories, including dairy, juice, and yogurt.
Meanwhile, Alasdekaa dairies is expanding its distribution network across Egypt. It is actively seeking new business distributors in Greater Cairo, the Delta, Canal cities, and Upper Egypt to further enhance its market presence
