Optimum nutrition expands portfolio across product lines

USA – Optimum Nutrition, a well-known sports nutrition brand based in Downers Grove, Illinois, is continuing its expansion with the launch of six new flavors across several product lines.

With a focus on trend-forward, appealing flavors, Optimum Nutrition aims to cater to a diverse customer base, including professional athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and recreational sports participants.

These new product offerings, which span across its Gold Standard 100% Whey, Gold Standard Protein Shake, AMIN.O. ENERGY, and Micronized Creatine Powder, aim to capture the attention of consumers seeking both variety and convenience in their sports nutrition products.

The Gold Standard 100% Whey Protein Powder now comes in two new flavors: Girl Scout Thin Mints and Caramel Macchiato.

The Girl Scout Thin Mints flavor blends the cool, refreshing taste of mint with rich dark chocolate, while the Caramel Macchiato flavor combines creamy coffee flavors with a touch of caramel sweetness.

Both options are offered in 22-serving tubs for US$27.99, appealing to consumers who are looking for indulgent yet nutritious protein supplements.

For those looking for a more convenient, ready-to-drink option, the Gold Standard Protein Shake is now available in Strawberry, Chocolate, and Vanilla flavors.

This shake comes in grab-and-go 4-packs and 12-packs, priced at US$8.49 and US$23.99 respectively, offering a practical solution for people with busy lifestyles who want a quality protein boost without the hassle of preparation.

In addition, the AMIN.O. ENERGY line, known for providing a quick energy boost, adds two new flavors: Rainbow Sherbet and Peach Mango Tango.

The Rainbow Sherbet flavor is inspired by a childhood favorite, combining raspberry, orange, and lemon/lime for a tangy burst of flavor.

Meanwhile, Peach Mango Tango brings together juicy peach and mango for a refreshing twist. Both are available in 30-serving tubs for US$29.99, catering to consumers looking for both taste and performance-enhancing benefits.

Optimum Nutrition also introduces a new flavored creatine option, the Micronized Creatine Powder in Blueberry Lemonade.

This flavor provides the crisp taste of citrus-berry, marking the brand’s first flavored creatine product.

It is available in a 60-serving tub for US$21.99 at Walmart, expanding the brand’s reach in the creatine market and appealing to consumers seeking effective and flavorful options for muscle recovery.

With these new product additions, Optimum Nutrition demonstrates its commitment to satisfying the needs of a diverse range of consumers.

The sports nutrition market is continuously evolving, with professional athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and casual sports participants all seeking products to support their goals.

A recent study shows that 75% of elite athletes and 74% of gym-goers regularly use sports nutrition products, further fueling the demand for new and innovative flavors and formats.

Optimum Nutrition’s latest offerings aim to meet this demand by introducing products that combine taste, convenience, and performance benefits, solidifying the brand’s position as a leader in the sports nutrition industry.
