Milk Specialties Global rebrands as Actus Nutrition to focus on nutritional solutions

USA – Milk Specialties Global has officially rebranded itself as Actus Nutrition, a strategic move aimed at aligning the company’s identity with its mission of delivering high-quality nutritional ingredients while emphasizing sustainability.

The transformation reflects Actus Nutrition’s expanding role in the health and nutrition sectors, positioning the company to capitalize on the growing market for nutritional products.

Actus Nutrition supplies protein products and serves a significant number of top sports nutrition brands, with the CEO David Lenzmeier stating that the new identity embodies the company’s commitment to responsible sourcing and innovative nutritional solutions.

With annual revenues estimated at approximately US$1.5 billion and a remarkable double-digit compound annual growth rate over the past five years, Actus Nutrition is well-positioned for continued growth.

The company’s core offerings include whey proteins, milk proteins, and casein products, which are crucial for various health and performance products.

Notably, Actus has transformed whey, traditionally seen as a dairy processing byproduct, into a highly valued ingredient that supports human health.

Actus operates 12 manufacturing facilities throughout the United States, ensuring the efficient delivery of its specialized products to a diverse global customer base.

In addition to sports nutrition, the company has expanded into consumer packaged goods, offering private label products that meet the increasing demand for healthier food options.

Its portfolio also includes high-protein snacks and functional ingredients for diverse applications, such as coffee creamers and frozen meals.

Moreover, Actus Nutrition is involved in the pet and livestock nutrition markets, producing milk replacers and supplements designed to enhance the health and productivity of animals.

The company will showcase its new identity at SupplySide West, taking place from October 28 to 31, 2024, in Las Vegas, marking a significant step in its evolution and growth within the nutrition sector.
