MEXICO  – Grupo Lala, a prominent Mexican dairy and juices major, has appointed Francisco Camacho Beltran, a former Danone executive, as its new CEO, effective May 1st.  

Camacho Beltran will succeed Arquimedes Adriano Chris Jordan, who has been CEO since 2019. 

With over three decades of experience in the consumer products sector, Camacho Beltran brings a wealth of expertise to his new role.  

His extensive leadership background includes positions at renowned companies such as Danone, FEMSA, Revlon, and Procter & Gamble. 

While specific reasons for Jordan’s departure have not been disclosed by Grupo Lala, the company’s decision to appoint Camacho Beltran underscores its commitment to driving growth and innovation under new leadership. 

Jordan will remain connected to Grupo Lala by retaining a seat on the company’s board, ensuring continuity and support during the transition. 

Grupo Lala’s move to enlist an executive with Camacho Beltran’s caliber reflects its strategic focus on strengthening its position in the market and delivering value to its stakeholders.  

The company aims to leverage its expertise to further propel its growth trajectory and maintain its competitive edge in the industry. 

In 2023, Grupo Lala reported annual revenue of 98.99 billion pesos (US$5.91 billion), marking a 5.6% increase from the previous year. Net profit also saw a substantial rise, climbing by 90.7% to 2.79 billion pesos. 

Grupo Lala boasts a diverse product portfolio, including milks, flavored milk RTDs, fruit juices, yogurts, pudding desserts, butters, and sliced meats.  

Additionally, the company holds licenses to distribute Nestlé’s milk drinks brands and Blue Diamond’s almond milk label in Mexico. 

With 141 distribution centers and 16 factories in Mexico, along with operations in the United States and Brazil, Grupo Lala remains a formidable player in the global dairy and beverages market.  

The company’s presence across multiple markets underscores its commitment to delivering quality products to consumers worldwide.
