SOUTH AFRICA – Woodlands Dairy’s First Choice, a South African dairy processor, has unveiled its Low-Fat Drinking Snack and Low-Fat Dairy Snack designed to cater for health-conscious consumers.

According to Marilee Jansen van Nieuwenhuizen, Brand Manager at Woodlands Dairy and First Choice, the launch of the products is modified to appeal to those seeking nutritious yet delicious snacks.

He noted that the new Low-Fat Drinking Snack is positioned as a convenient option for individuals with busy lifestyles, perfect for lunchboxes or quick refreshments between meals.

“Available in Strawberry, Granadilla, Peach, and Caramel Fudge flavors, the packaging is thoughtfully designed to reflect each variant’s unique essence,” he said.

Van Nieuwenhuizen elaborated on the company’s aim to provide diverse snacking choices with the Low-Fat Dairy Snack range, offering flavors such as Strawberry, Peach & Apricot, Litchi, Vanilla, Vanilla Choc Chip, and Caramel.

He added that each flavor caters to different taste preferences, from tropical notes to classic dessert indulgence.

“The versatility of these snacks is emphasized, suitable for consumption alone, with fruits and granola, or as part of a smoothie or lunchbox. Additionally, opting for low-fat dairy snacks can contribute to maintaining a healthy body weight while still providing essential nutrients.”

The products will be available in various packaging options, including single-serving 250g bottles for the Drinking Dairy Snack and multipacks, tubs, and 250g bottles for the Dairy Snack.

“Their captivating aesthetics, featuring a striking circle design, aim to facilitate quick flavor identification and create a lasting impression,” Van added.

Marisa Maccaferri, Marketing Executive for Woodlands Dairy and First Choice, highlighted the company’s commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction.

Through these new offerings, she noted that the company aim to provide convenient and versatile options that cater to consumers’ preferences and needs.
