USA – Greek yogurt maker Chobani has appointed John Frost as its new Chief Customer Officer, adding to its executive leadership team.

Frost joins Chobani from PepsiCo, where he spent over two decades contributing to business strategy and sales acceleration for Frito-Lay.

In his new role, Frost will report to Kevin Burns, Chobani’s President and Chief Operating Officer.

Chobani’s Founder and CEO, Hamdi Ulukaya, expressed excitement about welcoming John Frost as the company charts its next phase of growth, particularly after a strong performance in the past year and the recent acquisition of La Colombe for US$900 million.

The acquisition enhances Chobani’s presence in the ready-to-drink coffee category and aligns with the company’s broader strategy to become a more diversified food and beverage company.

Frost’s extensive experience in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) space and his proven track record in sales and customer leadership make him a valuable addition to Chobani’s leadership team.

Ulukaya emphasized the company’s commitment to delivering good food for all and expanding its brand reach.

Chobani has been actively building its executive team, with Kenneth Bishop appointed in 2022 to oversee the company’s expansion into international markets.

The company has witnessed robust growth in its yogurt business, which comprises a significant portion of its sales.

According to Nielsen data provided by the company, Chobani’s yogurt sales rose 11.6% for the last 52 weeks ending December 2, outpacing the broader yogurt segment, which grew 9.9%.

Chobani, founded in 2005 by Hamdi Ulukaya, is known for its mission to make high-quality and nutritious food accessible to more people.

The company manufactures yogurt, oat milk, and dairy-based creamers, with a focus on natural ingredients without artificial preservatives.
