ZAMBIA – Zambian leading processor of Corn and Soya based consumer products,260 Brands, is thrilled to announce that two products, Seba instant Thobwa a High Energy Protein Supplement and Nutramilk plant-based milk, were crowned as the New Products of the Year during the Africa Food Awards 2023.

The food processor also emerged as the Rising Star African Food Company of the Year which according to Gaurav Vijayvargiya, the company’s CEO reflects the unwavering dedication to excellence as the company strives to make a positive impact in the African food industry.

“These recognitions highlight our commitment to innovation and the development of high-quality, groundbreaking food solutions in a ready-to-drink format. This also underscores our dedication to providing nutritious and sustainable food options to consumers,” Guarav said.

He appreciated the entire company team noting that the remarkable achievements wouldn’t be possible without their exceptional efforts, expertise, and collaboration.

“Each member has played an integral role in driving our success and realizing our vision. I am immensely proud of their unwavering commitment and passion,” he noted.

Guarav also extended his gratitude to the Africa Food Awards organizers for acknowledging the processor’s contributions and recognizing the significance of the innovations.

He also recognized the position of Seba’s customers, partners and stakeholders for their continuous support and trust in the company’s brands.

According to the founder and CEO of FW Africa, and the organizer of the awards, Francis Juma, the 260 Brands Subsidiary had done an amazing job innovating and investing in their food and agro-industry supply chains.

Last year, as the company celebrated its 25th anniversary Gaurav highlighted that 260 Brands manufacture, market and distribute high-quality consumer products that are inspired by local tastes and made from locally sourced ingredients which enable Africa’s people to taste the good life.

“Our brand represents the vibrancy of Africa and the spirit of freedom and innovation,” Vijayvargiya added.

Now, having operated for over two decades, the company owns and sells a whole range of products on top of its classic original brands.
